I purchased 4GB of DDR2 memory for my computer (because it was on sale) it's 1000mhz and before I purchased it I didn't check my mother board to see if it supports 1000mhz and of course it doesn't. So, It sees the memory as 800mhz, would it be OK to over clock it to 1024mhz?
Running 1000mhz at 1024mhz?

Let me get this straight.
You got DDR2 1000/PC2 8000. But your board only supports up to DDR2 800/PC2 6400.
You want to overclock it to 1024?
