Running 2 monitors

You need two hdmi cables and a motherboard /gpu with two hdmi ports. It really is as simple as that. Configuring the placement of the screens in windows takes about 20 seconds.

It that the only way to do it ? .

I should have said but I do have a HDMI port on my computer.

I really don’t want to open my PC .

What does the back panel IO look like as far as ports? Sometimes the available amount are mixed such as displayport and HDMI.

If your system is new enough you could also use USBC to HDMI for alt-mode on another display.

You could probably use a DVI to HDMI adapter, otherwise you'd need to install a display adapter/video card that supports the outputs you'd like to use. Most modern platforms allow you to use the onboard ports in addition to the GPU ports.

To simplify things I would get a DVI to HDMI cable like this in addition to a regular HDMI cable. Should auto detect and send signal to both, might have to rearrange them in display properties but that's easy.
