Running Crysis 2 better than Sims 3?!

Hi,

I just got myself a new power supply and graphic card, and it works perfectly.
I can run crysis 2 with max settings and v-sync and still have a pretty stable fps at about 60 fps.
Yet it runs smoother than Sims 3, wtf?
I'm not sure why, but I'd guess it might be all the objects, and neighbourhoods or something, but, why would Crysis 2 run smoother than Sims 3?

Could it be the processor or something?

Attached specs from CPU-Z.

OS: Win 7 64-bit
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630, 2,8GHz (quad-core)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 (NVidia drivers up-to-date)
PSU: Seasonic S12II-620 80 Bronze 620W
RAM: 6 GB
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder (probably irrelevant, but did cause lag problems for HOMM: VI for having too high DPI - lol)

Thank you o.O

The sims 3 is a bad port from console. It's terribly coded, very sloppy, and runs like a mutt. It would help you to overclock your CPU or get a better one (such as Phenom II X6)

Your specs are still missing things like motherboard, power supply, hard drive, case, operating system.

Seems too expensive just to get 1 game running smoother, so it's not really any help, sorry.

I agree about the Sims 3, bought and had it for three days, then gave it away. I like the Sims 2 the best.

You attachment is showing as invalid and is no help.

What settings are you running? Resolution? Single/dual/triple monitors?

single monitor, something like 1280 x 1024, settings lowered for less detailed neighbourhoods, i noticed that i also lag in warcraft 3: TFT, if lots of units, and in saints row 3, when flying and there are lots of buildings, so it's gotta be something with there are lots of objects :S. Updated specs btw
