Running dual monitors

I have a dell dimension 5000 with a 128mb ATi Radeon x300SE could anyone give me some advice on what I would need to buy to run dual monitors on it, apart from another monitor! If another card is required some specific advice on which one to get

is that what ur card looks like... No DVI and just a VGA because in that case you would have to do one or two things.

You could buy just a PCI video card (not express) but that would be bad for gaming and just plug it into a slot or get a PCI-express card with two vga inputs or one vga and one dvi and buy an adapter (i did the second one)

there's pci express cards that can support 4 monitors in dvi

i would never trade a pci-express card for a pci card

if you can't afford a new pci-express card that can handle two monitors, just get a pci card for the 2nd monitor, and leave your primary monitor hooked up to the pci-express card you already have.

99% of games are only going to support one monitor, anyways, so you may as well keep at least the one decent card (not that the one you have is really 'recent' but it's better than PCI)

go to www.tigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com or even ebay (i got mine off ebay for a little under 30 but i dont really game that much) and search for a PCI-Express card with i guess 256mb or 512mb with dual vga, dual dvi, or one vga and one dvi and you should be set. i dont know what cards are exactly good ... I have the same card you have but upgraded somewhat.
