Running one or more virus/spyware programs

I am using Mc Afee for viruses

Lavasoft adware for adware

Spybot search & Destroy for spyware

I usually run these at the same time as I use my pc alot and I only do scans when Im onot on it (eg for an hour) So it saves my time running all the scans at the same time

Will these interact with each other and not detect some viruses, spyware etc????

not really recomended as the 2 adwares scanner will pick up the same stuff, selecting to remove it with one application may cause the other to get a read access error. As for the virus scan, well you probably have active scan on anyway so there no need to run a full scan at this time.

You could just set up the tasks to run at night while you sleep?

SpyBOT and Ad-Aware will not pick up the same stuff. It is good., spybot picks up different adware then adware se. Its cleans deeper.
