Running stuff on Portable Harddrive

quick need to learn how to run stuff on a flash drive or portable hard drive. Like photoshop and everything, i have a disk and i've tried copying the program files but it doesnt alway swork if at all. Please

from what i understand u installed your progz on windows C: then copy to USB..nah dude wont work..dont copy to the usb.INSTALL it to the USB when photoshop ask u where u wanna install it point it to the USB device..hope it helps..
