Sorry this is my first post on here so hopefully i put it the right forum

I have an ibm r40 laptop, and some sort of panasonic television, i bought an s-video cable in hopes i could play some tetris(haha) on my big screen.

Anyway, both ends are connected and im not sure how to get the computer picture on the television screen. My ps2 is using the video1 port, so i have the video 2 free. I just have no idea what to do.

Thanks

Hmmm....do this: right-click on your desktop---click properties--Settings tab--see if you can click to change display options, output etc. which may involve clicking the 2 box to switch or enable one or both displays. Once you configure it to output to a second display (which is your TV), it should all work. Oh, you may want to keep a lower resolution on the second display (output) in the options settings, if you have any problems or it doesn't work.

And, an extra thing:
Hopefully you have the newest drivers for your laptop's video card (integrated or not.

Have fun playing Tetris!
