ok so i have my s-video hooked up to my tv...it works BUT i want sound too..from my tv not just my comp...so i got the red and white cables now i plugged them in everyhole possible but nothing...not sound on my tv at all...it;s plugged in to video 2 because thats where my s-video is...

Plug from the small hole on the back of your pc with a small circle and an arrow pointing out (2.5mmhole) or an rca hole if you have it. Then that will plug into the AUDIO in of any device which is hooked to the tv, or the TV. Don't plug it into the video port, it is audio, plug into the audio port.

That will work...
SPDIF is a digital audio format used for transporting stereo digital audio signals.
Do you have a cbale that hooks up in there? and can you then plug the other end into an audio in of the tv or dvd player etc?
