Sacrificing one thing for another

I've been looking at quite a few cases, and have come down to 3 or so.

One is a 10 bay, SECC with a 520watt PSU. The other is an 11 bay, aluminim with a 400watt PSU. the aluminium one is about $90 dearer too.

What i want is opinion on if sacrificing the better PSU is worth it for the better case for that amount of money. I don't even know if i'll need the 520watt PSU as i won't be running an upperclass powerful machine to start with.

Anyway, in case you are wondering, the cases are Raidmax Ninja (or X1), the other is the THERMALTAKE (sorry for me calling it a raidmax) Tsunami.

I would invest in the better case, usally the PSU`s that come with cases are not that gr8 anyway. Also what type of setup you got, mobo, graphics card, etc...?

If it were me though i would go for the Raidmax Tsunami just because im a fan of thermaltake!.

Personally, I like the RaidMax Tsunami...it looks more useful and you have a better view of the inside. However, I also agree with what ghostfacesuk said. You could go with the third option and buy both components (i.e.Case and PSU) seperately.

ah dam sorry! the tsunami is Thermaltake.

Man i was mucked up in that post. Very sick and have been taking too many cold & flu pills!

Both raidmax cases (the ones you have pictures of) come with a 520watt PSU. The tsunami looks like so,

and comes with a 400watt PSU. I know the PSU's that come with cases are often considered useless.

i'll probably get the tsunami... the reason being? well.... because i can. i'll see if they can take a couple of bucks off the price if i ditch the PSU.

The only reason i am a bit 'iffed' about getting the raidmax X1 is because you need to have the front panel open in order to use the front USB ports. yet the thermal display is on that panel! which makes it useless unless i want to crane my neck in all different angles to see behind the panel everytime i want to check the temp. (in saying that, the ninja doesn't even have one, but hmm)

looking at pictures of the Ninja really makes me hate the case, but the ones i have seen in person actually look quite normal and would look accepted in a gneral environment.

ghost, why are you a fan of thermaltake? i mean for an aluminium case, this seems exceptionally cheap...
