Safari For Windows

Safari Beta for Windows is now available for download from Apple's site

It's pretty nice.

yeah i just downloaded it but i dont think its as good as Firefox

It's a bit slower than Firefox and can be a bit unintuitive. It's also not that good on this site, it stretches!

ive just download safari. very very nice... and i think it is much faster than firefox.
the only problem that i have found is the support for arabic pages. You can not view arabic, farsi and other right to left langauges.

example:
bbc arabic: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/arabic/news/
a persian site: http://majidonline.com/

otherwise everything is ok. But firefox is much better. Addons and stuff are the most feat. i like in firefox.

Memory usage:

one page open:
safari : 48 740 K
firefox : 35 747 K

5 open tabs:
safari : 72 800 K
firefox : 67 258 K

so Firefox takes less memory!!!

I may give it a shot, but I found no reason to upgrade from Firefox when first trying it on my Mac some time ago.

With both browsers on Google Firefox takes HALF the memory of Safari, some fine tuning I think is needed.

Well, it is only a Beta. But IMO, nothing beats FF

Whatever you do dont try to put a proxy in it will die everytime. We tried it here at work and as soon as you put a proxy in it dies. But at home its nice and works fine becuase i dont have one...
