How do I get into safe mode?

Press all the f keys at the same time, you'll figure it out... My favorite is running your finger across the f key line really fast from f1 to f12... Like a present each time... what do I get today!

what version of windows are you running, if windows XP then the above action is correct (just press F8 throughout the entire boot process).
