Does Anyone now of any safe software which can help speed up my computer it seems to getting a bit slow

run some anti spyware and antivirus scans.

Anti spyware\adware: ms defender,Ad-aware
antivirus: AVG free

CCleaner is a good clean-up program.

And use Spybot SD.

Just because a computer is getting slower, it doesn't always mean it's virus and spywares.

As I have said in a previous thread prior to this, for starters:

You can go to START>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup and let it run through to see if you can recover anything. Then, you can go to Disk Cleanup again, and this time, move over to the "more optoins" tab, which you can see here:

and cleanup those files too if any are present.

oh no im not aiming this thread against virus and spyware it was just running slower still kinda is also my avg wont update i click it and it tryto update but doesnt it say closeing connection
