Safe to Unplug fan?

1650x, superloud. I mainly watch videos on tv, ive gone 4 hours unplugged. What could be potential hazards, and what are the chances. I felt the card with my hand, and im unable to hold it there for 5 seconds.

Noise/Risk? what do you suggest, thanks for your opinions.
 
Um.. The potential problem of the card would probably be the melting of the core itself. You might want to find an aftermarket fan that's quieter.
 
the GPU will shut down before any damage occurs. if you have good airflow in your case you would probably be ok
 
that much heat will probably cause a pre-mature death in the card, its inevitable. so the best advice is to buy an aftermarket cooler.
