I recently bought the h55 and 3 corsair AF120 fans. Is it a bad idea to use the AF 120 fans instead of the fan that came with the h55? The AF120s are a little lighter, that's my concern. Could they support the weight? Also, is the fan that comes with the h55 SP or AP. Does it matter which I use? My AF120 fans all glow the same color. I'd like to keep using it if possible.

AF's will support the weight because ultimately, the case is supporting it with those long mounting screws. Take a look at the specs for the fans that came with the H55 to see what the CFM (cubic feet per minute) is. If it happens to be higher than the AF120's, then keep those fans as they will push more air.
Edit:
H55 fans push 57 CFM and the AF120's performance push 63 CFM (quiet push 40 CFM) at full voltage.
For keeping quiet, both the H55 fans and AF120 performance fans are the same at 30dB (quiet are 21dB).
i believe the fans that come with the H55 are SP, and therefore can push air through the radiator, but you can always test it and worst case spend 10 minutes max switching the fans out.
