I'm overclocking my venice 3500+, whats a safe voltage to take it to for everyday use? My computer also sorta needs to last 4-6 years... dont laugh :o

I got it up to 2.6 gigahertz 1.610 V stable superpi and OCCT, but it failed in prime 95 because my memorys screwy, so i brought it back to stock... I'm going to try a BIOS flash which people recomended on other forums.

Ouch

1.6 is pushing it. I heard that the Venice core should ideally not go over 1.55 V. I have mine at 1.55.

JAN :D

But when I look at CPU-Z it says I'm only getting 1.55 V... Whatever, I'll back down a bit, I think I'll get the exact same overclock as you...

If I get say, a scythe ninja and a panaflow fan, would I be able to bring the voltage higher?

CPUz doesn't always read the correct voltage, my CPU is running @ 1.4V (checked via BIOS) and it is read as high as 1.55V by CPUz
