Sager NP8170 vs ASUS G74SX-BBK7

Hi,

I am looking for a gaming laptop.

After a lot of research, I consider two choices

Sager NP8170 - 1386USD (including the IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU)

The ASUS is 180USD cheaper, but I can't add any better cooling system. I am really worried about that. Should I?
The laptops are almost the same.
Could you recommend any other laptops with similar components?

Do you think that it is worth to pay additional money for the I7 processor or I won't see any difference?

If you really wanted too, you could apply your own paste on the ASUS cpu and gpu. But the ASUS is an awesome laptop. I would do that too.

I've seen a lot about Asus quality control lately, regarding thermal tape/paste, some still have a plastic protector on them when mounted... so you might want to check that if you get excessively high temps. Will probably void your warranty though.
