same old dvd Q's

ok. i want to burn a dvd to a dvd. surprised? well i have tried clonedvd, buring to a verbatim dl dvd, with no luck. it copies the movie onto my hdd, then skips to 66% burn in a matter of sec. and pops my blank dvd out. nothing has been written on it either. what program besides xcopy (dont wanna pay, and i cant find a reliable crack) can i use? i dont wanna shrink it to fit on a 4.7 gb dvd, unless the quality is the same, which i doubt. thnx for the responses to my repetative q's ahead of time.

all i want is to burn it on a dvd-9 without compressing it. i dont want to lose any quality

I use dvd shrink and dvd dcrypter, and have like 30 dvds burned. the quality of it is fine to.

but what if i have the dvd-9 discs and have the option to make a straight copy of the disc. is it possible?

use dvd shrink then in the options, select which dvd type you have. and it will copy without quality loss

Don't waste the time, just run it through DVD Dycypter and it will give you all the information as it was on the DVD, but with CSS and Macrovision and stuff. You only need to use Shrink if you want to reauthor and get rid of stuff, but if you're using DL disc I wouldn't waste the time in Shrink
