Looking to buy an SSD for the ThinkPad to replace the 1TB SSHD. I'm thinking about going with one of Samsung's 840 drives.
I can get the 250GB version of the 840 EVO Basic for about £85 or the 840 Pro 250GB for about £125 or so.
Looking at the read and write speeds alone, I can't really see any reason to get the Pro over the Basic - but maybe I'm missing something. So what is the difference between the two and is it worth spending the extra on the Pro?
