When i call someone it shows my phone number as expected. How do i or can i get it to display like my name. its from AT&T. im just thinking its something i might be able to do from the phone. maybe not.

If you are saved as a Contact in their phone, it will show your name. Other than that, most carriers have a Caller ID (a true caller ID, not just the number) option as a monthly add-on, but the person you are calling will have to be enrolled obviously. There are apps too that will do it, again most likely for a one-time purchase or monthly fee, and the person you are calling will have to foot that bill.

Unless the receiver of the call has you in their contacts, it will just display your phone number.

All right. Thats good enough. Just for the record on the regular phones in the house i was bombarded with sellers. I put my name on the donotcall.gov and didn't work to get keep them out. Still wasn't enough. Someone mentioned and asked if my name was in the whitepages. said yes. said if its available to the public you can get it. Went to whitepages.com and did an opt out. Problem mostly solved now. have to give it a month.
Funny the phone calls coming in on my home phone and showing my home phone number. Oh well.........maybe someone else can use this information.
