Samsung Galaxy Tab S - sent messages are not being saved in sent folder.

The app email (not hotmail but the app itself) is not saving the sent emails in the sent email, I have looked into logs, I have looked into folders and I have done alot of stuff and can't find any solutions. I need a message that I sent for work and I can't find it all, I know it isn't deleted and it is probably hidden in some file somewhere. Althought I did find an error when I sent a test email sentUserActionEvent() mView == null, so I have no idea what this means, I found some stuff online but no real solutions. There has to be some sort of file or something hidden in the logs. I am very confident that there is some solution to this, I just don't know what it is, I literally have spent hours on this looking for a solution and trying to find an answer.

I can send emails to my other accounts and they go through fine, but it doesn't save the sent message in the folder. But I have to find a sent message as it is for work that I am doing.

Look in the settings to see if there is an option for it to save sent emails. My Samsung note phone saves sent emails automatically, no option to change it. Not sure about my Note tablet.
