Samsung HD help

Synesthesia

My 'SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD753LJ 750GB' after installing it gave me an error saying that the file path has not been specified or is non existent. This was after I attempted to download a torrent. So I thought that it was just that file; I then tried 8 more files that all worked on my C operating system hard drive (A samsung 250 gb), but not the new G:/ HD. I then tried other things, none of which worked. The only thing that works is when I download a file to the C HD, then transfer it to the G HD. Though on many occasions either while doing that or trying to directly download a file the G drive diapered from windows; the only way that I could see it was to go into the control panel and look at the hooked up hardware.

What is the matter with it? Do I have to return it? I tried formatting it 3 times so far, but to no avail. Does Samsung have a program that can check for errors?

Thanks.

It also appears that it slows my system down considerably right before it fails, and does whatever in order to work in windows again.

I need to know what to do soon...my rma time to Newegg is running out.

Go to Start and right click "My computer" and click "Manage". Then, click "Disk Management" underneath Storage. Then find your hdd and format it.

Formatting it only allows it to be seen in windows again.

I managed to download and run a 300 mb file without corruption....maybe the problem is getting better?
