Looking for a monitor that also works to play my high def games and watch tv.

Dell:

Samsung:

As you can see they are both 19 inch LCD HD ready monitors, but the Dell one is $100 more, but I think it brings more input options. So which one should I go with?

I already have a HDTV, a samsung actually. I need this for my dorm room in college (it's a hassle to take a CRT HDTV up the stairs,) and it would save me some room. I am just wondering if the Dell is worth the $100 more, because I don't really see a big difference. Plus I see the Samsung is HDCP compatible, not really sure about the Dell.

Generaly I have found that Dell monitors are better and probaly more easy to get support when you find a nice red pixel in the middle of your montor.

i'd recommend dell. I use one of their ultrasharp displays, and it is very nice. their customer service is great also
