Samsung says memory full; has 103 kB still available

I am trying to send MMS messages to and from my phone. When I try to compose one, it says "Memory Full Cannot Write". When I try to receive one, it says "Memory Full. Please Delete Some Items" trying to to retreive a 2KB MMS message, having 50% more storage space available. I have tried downloading the Samsung PC Studio but it would not detect my phone. It is a Samsung A437 (bolded for your convenience). Also every time I power on my phone it says I received a message at 12:00 and is titled "Memory Full". I am aware that I don't have very much storage space available but I would really like to get the pictures off my phone. Thanks for any help.

That doesn't sound right... There's no way you only have 3MB of memory on your phone. Are you looking here?

The a437 is an old phone from 2007. Its not gonna have the memory like the latest android phones do.

Well there's no basic phone section lol

Though still, this is a issue, but it's very hard to fix issues on a basic phone. I would just do a full phone reset.

The only thing that didn't get deleted was my ringtones. I reset and it will now receive my MMS emails
