Samsung Vs. Dell

I was looking for a new monitor and came across 2 very nice ones. The first is a 19'' Dell Ultrasharp, and the other is a 22'' Samsung 2253LW. The Dell is $204 US and the Samsung is $244 US. Which one would you guys recommend?

I like Samsung Syncmaster digitals. In fact im looking for two 24" at the moment we speak. Get digital. very nice for calibration and sync.

I prefer the samsungs, they're great quality plus the size difference is very noticeable.

They are both really well known for quality, but i'd probably go with Samsung too.

i disagree! lol. I got a Dell Vostro 400 Desktop about 2 weeks ago, and I love it. Best computer I ever had. Dell has good products.

A lot of people are treating dell like mitsubishi computers, which went out of business long ago.

I would pick the samsung.

I have 2 Samsung Monitors myself, and I'm satisfied with the quality and have never had problems with them. Never been impressed with anything Dell has, so I'd agree with the majority and say go Samsung.

Samsung. Honestly, either is absolutely fine.

I have Samsung, Never givin proble,, and 25hr use, non stop, yearly... Two Years...

These aren't comparable monitors. You should decide on screen size before brand name. There are 22" UltraSharps and 19" of whatever horrible Chinese crap Samsung is putting their name on now.

And Dell doesn't "produce" monitors, they put their names on them. They're usually LG and Samsung panels.

Also, Dell provides a better warranty than Samsung.

Yea, ilya misunderstood that.

Dell "makes" horrible monitors. They put sharp monitors on their laptops, and they are often really bad.

im not really a gamer, im more of a video and music person. but i play some games sometimes.

Exactly. Each computer has its weakness. Dell is great at everything, EXCEPT gaming. And power supplies. And its upgrading ability.

I have had a samsung syncmaster 216bw for 2 months and it is great i got it for $229 and free shipping from pc connection i just checked they are out of stock the difference between the 21.6 and 22 inch is nill
