Sandy Bridge build please...

Can someone put together a Sandy Bridge setup for me. I haven't kept up on the products out there so I'd hate to get a mediocre MB and such. It will be for my grandparents, they don't need a video card, I'll give them one of my 3 that are on a shelf. I'll buy off newegg, $1000 +/- 10%. They won't be gaming but I might when I'm over here. Doesn't need a recordable drive it wouldn't get used. just basic DVD maybe Blu Ray ROM. Decent PSU it will have a GTX 295 probably. Needs to include Windows, no peripherals/monitor. Again I don't necissarilly want to spend a bunch but no low power / reduced performance crap. Thanks all!

Ive been working on it for a week now, i did extensive research so. the microcenter parts might be cheaper on shipping with new egg or amazon thats just a local store for me.

Why do you need a sandy bridge build, even given that you will be gaming when you will be there but a phenom II x4 will be more than enough and also cheaper.

I assume you won't be overclocking it since it is your grand parent's.

A Phenom II x4 build will be more than enough for gaming and their purpose.
And since you already have a GPU that to a GTX 295 you can get away with a good build and spending less.

Tell us if you are willing to change.

If you want to change the CPU you can without making any other modifications.
But the above will serve good as an occasional gaming PC.

Anyways here is a sandy bridge build -
CPU - $125

$617

This will play any game you throw at it with your GTX 295 combined

I suggest you go for H67 chipset motherboard. Since they don't really need a video card, you could just leave it with onboard vga

He would be putting in a GTX 295
And an H67 will be nice I was going for the H67 but I don't know why I clicked the P67 sorting on newegg.since you won't be overclocking anyways
