Sanyo HD-2000?

Hey gais!

I recently destroyed the few last AipTek's I got (perfect timing, right in our film environment a day before our semester movie project was due )

So this time, I decided to splurge a bit more... [understatement]

Anyone have any opinions of the HD2000? I edit in Vegas 9.0c and After Effects, do ya think they can handle it?

I've already ordered it ($500 ), should be coming soon

Hmm... I was actually looking at one of those not too long after I received my Canon HF200. I read the low-light performance is top-notch with that camera. I like how it has the hot-shoe and external mic inputs as well. Though the lack of an optical stabilizer is a deal killer for me. I'm also not fond of the pistolgrip style cameras.

Personally I'd go with the Canon HF20 or HF200. If for nothing else, it has an optical stabilizer.
