I did a search but never actually found a thread on this topic specifically. My question is, does a SAS (Serial Attached SCSI), connect right into any SATA compatible motherboard, or does it need its own controller, like a normal SCSI drive?
In case you were wondering, I was looking at this 15K drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822116015
