SATA and IDE

IT will work fine having one IDE and one SATA plugged in at the same time, they should be able to both fuction and work fine.

Yeah i'm sure my Mobo doesn't have a SATA connector. I have dual IDE's right now so i know that works but i'm not familiar with SATA or combining them with IDE.

Why wouldn't it work? Don't play with me man. OK so maybe i'm thinking about this too much but for me to run a dual IDE HD on my computer i took the jumper out of the master HD and set the secondary HD as slave. For whatever reason it wouldn't detect the Primary HD when i set it as master. Should i be worried about this since Serial ATA doesn't have jumpers?

Well I was kidding...but you have a valid point. I don't know if that dongle has jumpers, but it really shouldn't matter. It will work, and if it doesn't, then it will if you play with it.
