sata card drivers needed

im trying to install windows xp and i have a sata hard drive with a pci card but it needs drivers but im not sure what drivers it needs, is there any way to find out?

the raid drivers from the disk it came with.. yes they are sometime called raid drivers on the disk.

Easist way, if you can't find the driver or know nothing about the card, is to simply pull the card out and do some googling. Typically you can find brands and models on the card.

Or you can just browse the drivers list and install a generic one that comes with Vista. I don't know about XP.
