SATA connectors......?

There both SATA connectors, i think the red ones are made to precisly fit the connector, where the orange one may have a tiny bit of "wiggle room". Perhaps one is for SATA150 and the other is SATA II (which by the way have the same connector).
 
it was the mobo in the link that prae gave us that had the hybrid board that supports both INTEL and AMD cpu's at the same time.

Considering you had to fire up that link to get the picture wouldnt it just be easier to answer the question? For anyone who still doesnt know, its the ECS PF88

From the pic, the red SATA lines are powered by the (standard) SiL3132 controller while the other controllers (6 of them, only 4 visible) are powered by the SiS965 :)
 
Yes thats all it is. You can tell by the position on the connectors and they are the same size and shape you just can't really tell from that picture

actually the red ones are a little different, looks carefully at the corners of both.
