SATA hard drives on a ATA marchine?Adaptor?

Someone has given me a SATA hard drive.Trouble is my mother board is older and does not have a provision for a sata connector.I want to use this as a internal and not externally in a box.

Is there a adapter you can buy?

The mother board i have is a Gigabyte Ga7va in case someone needs that information.

Or you can use a PCI sata controller card if you dont want to use up a IDE port.

But if he's trying to use that as a main drive, the card might not work...

But if there's a way to boot from a SATA Controller card, it might work (I haven't heard of this yet...)
