thealmightyone New Member Mar 16, 2007 #4 You have a choice of using: A molex-style power cable (goes onto the 4 big pins). Or a SATA power cable. Plugs in directly next to your SATA data cable. Never ever plug in both.

thealmightyone New Member Mar 19, 2007 #10 The SATA plug is much easier to attach than the Molex version. Plus, the SATA plugs have 1 extra wire than Molex plugs (at least, for me they do). No idea what it's for, maybe an extra ground wire.
