Sata Ii

Hello gang:

I am wondering if anyone knows of a socket 478 MOBO that has SATA II. I cannot seem to find one, did they only start the SATA II with the socket 775?

I checked Google, Yahoo......and from what I have found there wasn't one ever made! I'm just trying to see if anyone knows of one or maybe another place I can look for it.

Sorry, i couldnt find one for you. But SATAII drives are backwards comnpatable with SATA1 motherboards, they just run at a lower speed.

no drive has surpassed sata 1 speeds, so sata 2 on a mobo won't matter.
