SATA ports

Hello,

I am writing here because I need some assistance with installing a new hard drive. I mainly use my computer for browsing the internet (duh), so my computer isn't too flashy.

I am running a HP a6020a desktop computer with a 945GCT-HM (Livermore) motherboard.

This is a link to motherboard details (including a picture)
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...3680/en_au/c00910113/loc:1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=au

My problem: The hard drive this computer came with is getting full. I would like to install a new hard drive to keep my video and music projects on.

This motherboard only has two functional SATA ports (By this I mean that slots 3 and 4 have no clips to connect anything to the motherboard).

My CD-drive is using one of the SATA connections and my hard drive is using the other SATA connection.

If I want to install a new hard drive so that I have two running. Is there any way that it can be a SATA drive? The reason I am asking this is because I purchased a 500 GB WD SATA hard drive (The instructions said to get the same type of drive that you already had... How can i do that with only 2 SATA slots?) and it would be better to get it to work than to take it back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
