Should I switch over to powering my Sata hard drive with the Sata power connection, instead of the 4 pin molex?

I had a bad experience years ago, when I powered a drive with the molex and sata power and the drive crashed, but now I know to only use one or the other, lol.

Really, either is fine, it's a matter of personal preference or cable-management (if that's a priority for you). SATA is slimmer, neater, more compact; I have just a bit of OCD when it comes to organization, so those mean a lot to me.

And yes, powering a Drive with both types will result in a fizzle.
