SATA to IDE adapter - Questions

Hello,

I have a question about converting a SATA Hard Drive to work with IDE:

I just bought the Hard Drive listed below...

Wich is a Serial ATA150 and I don't have SATA capabilities in my computer, it is IDE only. I have done some looking around for converters and see that there are several different options.

I couldn't think of any better place to ask for opinoins on what I should do.

you'll be needing a sata controller card if you dont want to go and buy a new motherboard.

Thanks! So, for example, if I order the following controler card, and just install it into a PCI slot, all I have to do is plug up the SATA cable to my new hard drive?

The power comes from the computer/card? or is there a power cord nessesary?

looks fine to me, the user reviews look promising too. i've not heard of the brand but i wouldn't let that put me off.

the card should draw all the power it needs from the motherboard.... i've not heard of a sata controller that needs extra power
