i just receved my sata HD and i have a few ?
1. how do i transfer my info from my non-sata HD to my new one
2. when i start to put to gether my new comp. should i have the jumper on... jumped pins 1 and 2 disable SSC (Spread spectrum clocking)..or
jumped pins 3 and 4 enable PM2 (Ppwer-Up in stand by) or some thing else...
3. should i use the LEGACY POWER or by an addapter for STAT power...
 
you should be able to run both hard drives at once, im assuming your old HD is an EIDE one, so you should still be able to hook it up and move all your files over, there are several programs that do this, or you can just copy and paste.

im not sure about the jumper settings

im pretty sure that you have to use the SATA power connector if you want to use the RAID function, which if you only have one HD you cant do anyway, so i would use the 4-pin connector unless you just happen to have a SATA one.
