satellite in the middle east

i'm currently looking at satellite internet companies and tring to figure out the fastest one. some are advertising 4mps. if i were to start a download how fast would it go?

Well,4mbps is 0.47684 megabytes,so for example a 650mb file whould be downloaded in 22 minutes.IF the connection operates at maximum speed(which is a bit difficult).But in general 4mbps is a pretty fast for an internet connection.
