Save as...

Hi,

By default, XP suggests saving of documents in My Documents folder.
How can this be altered to save the document in any other folder, including an active external or second internal drive?

right click on my documents>properties then change the path to the desired location for example F:/my documents

Many thanks, it works perfectly.
Similarly, can IE also be configured to save files in a specific folder? Mine insists it to be desktop, but this may be due to the last used folder.

Same thing, when u download anything from IE it will asked for a specific location , just pick a specific location u want IE to save at. IE will remember that location for future download.
