ScanDisk usb Memory Stick

I have a memory a usb memory stick that does not show up in "my computer". It shows up in my device management ok but not in "my computer" so I can not put any files onto it. Any ideas

Check that it's formatted. Look under Disk Management.

It say the software is upto date, it just wont shoe up in "My Computer "

As Voyagerfan said, check disk management (not device manager) to make sure its formatted and a drive letter assigned to it.

Ok checked it in disc management and it says unallocated

Then you have to create a partition, format it and assign it a drive letter.

You right click on the unallocated part and click on create new simple volume or similar to that and it should take you through the process of it.
