Scewdriver slip up...

So I had the motherboard in my lap while I was unscrewing a screw that had been stuck to a motherboard standoff. When the screw came out, the motherboard slipped a bit and hit the screwdriver which knocked two tiny resistors off the board. I freaked out and hooked everything back up and it seems to be working fine.

I don't know if they go together but the chip to the right of the resistors says Winbond W83627DHG.

If everything works, should I be concerned about this?

If all's working fine for the time being, you're probably alright. As long as the normal functions are working fine for now, I seriously doubt you'll suddenly have a motherboard failure or something due to this. Motherboards have so many integrated parts and can do so much, it's hard to say exactly what been broken loose... However, since the link was broken, I would suspect whatever it connected would stop working. Sooo...if you can't notice anything right off, I wouldn't worry too much about it ^^;

Also, if you really want, reapplying it shouldn't be too difficult. You'd just need a steady hand and a very sharp pointed soldering iron.

You can buy the super cheap ones and then file them. At my work we use the $2 orange handled ones and have to file them constantly to maintain the point. Kinda annoying.... but they would be good for this.
