School computer.

So i've done my work and have a full double period to widdle away. I checked out the school computer system. They seem to be decent in terms of school. So we have:

CPU: Intel Core2 Duo e4700
RAM: 2GB
Motherboard: Im guessing some sort of g31 chipset?
Graphics: Onboard extreme lol
OS: Windows XP Pro 32bit

What's your school/office computers like?

Hope someone posts some really crappy ghetto school one for a laugh :P
 
128 megs RAM
40 gig harddrives
xp with office 2007
and some with photoshop.
The network is down most of the time,
and they've blocked almost the internet in its entirety, CMD, Taskmanger, and other things

The computer is being slow and since the network blocked task manager I can't do anything about it.

Well you need to be productive.

Well maybe I'd be more productive if they didn't try to run photoshop, one of the most demanding programs that exsist, Office 2007, and XP, on a computer with 128 megs RAM designed for Window's two thousand

Lol, to go on command prompt do the following xD
Make new text doc. on desktop and type in "Command.com" save it as like command.bat
and there you go open that batch file on the desktop and you're all good you won't have admin powers but you can do some stuff :) a thing I like to do at school is that i have a .bat file on a flashdrive and while they arn't looking i use it on their computer is "shutdown -s -t 25 -c "School hates you" xD It shuts down their computer in 25 sec :) and they can't do nothing about it unless they are smart lol

I can't compare it to being in the public schools, but I like it. There's times when I haven't liked it (probably everyone feels that way about school at some time or another, regardless of where they go), but I feel that I've learned more at home than I would of at the public schools. It's also nice to have a flexible schedule for whatever reason. I can't really say much more than that as I've never gone to the public schools, but I do like it. :)
 
some pentium 4 ht some pentium d, both 3.0 ghz
512mb ram some 70 gb hdd i forget the rest, some intel chipset gpu
almost the entire internet is blocked and cmd, taskmanager, control panel and more
