Score?

So yours comes at 1.1GHz or 1.05GHz out of box?

Just wondering how is yours a better core? All 6800GS's have the .13m technology according to nVidias site.

The PCI-E version of the 6800GS uses the newer NV41 core, and is clocked 75Mhz higher than the AGP version which uses the NV40 core. The AGP version, however, can be unlocked to 16/6.

make that the NV-42 for PCI-E, :P, and from my review of the AGP and the PCI-E cards, the PCI is much better

My mistake, I should have looked it up before I posted. XT and GTO are the NV41, along with some of the vanilla.

At stock, yes, once unlocked, it's alot closer.
 
nope, in aquamark3, my GPU overclocked got about 11.5k in the GPU score, yet on the AGP version, unlocked and overclocked, only got about 9k

The difference with aquamark is less noticable than the difference with other benchmarking tools, or with real performance. It's also not really fair to compare scores with different systems, probably with different software & running processes, and set up by different people.
 
considering that i wasnt judging her overall score of 60k to my 79k, i was strictly judging by the GPU score of it, not the FPS... and on a fresh install of XP on her computer, compared to my corrupted shit, id think hers would get a higher score then mine, even though i end all unnessasary tasks...

Because you have a faster CPU thats why.

Give her the same CPU and same clock speed I bet the scores would be a LOT closer.
 
her computer wasnt here when i tested her CO edition, i used my boss's computer which has a 3800+ venice in it.... sooo....
