With that cpu and under 500 dollar budget you are gonna have a difficult time building a machine for gaming..let alone playing far cry2..

Need a little bit more..

Minimum Requirements for Far Cry 2
CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz
Graphics: Nvidia 6600 or ATI X1600 - Shader Model 2.0
RAM: 1GB
Hard Drive Space: 6-8GB
Optical Drive: DVD Drive

Right! So your ancient processor you got when you went back in time to take a picture of a T-Rex sadly does not even meet the minimum requirments for Far Cry 2. From what I understand your processor is ~1.7 ghz and you need at least 2.8 ghz.

So 500 dollar gaming rig...
which meets the far cry 2 minimum requirments

I did pick you a very good graphics card so you can cut that back to something smaller and get 4 gigs of ram instead.
You could also save some money by making your case out of card board boxes.

That leaves you with 4 one dollar bills a nickel and 4 honest abes to buy yourself 4 items on the dollar menu.
