Scratchy Sounds!Can Any one help please.

Hello, for some strange reason there are scratchy, distorted noises whenever i scroll up and down on a web page. It has been doing this for a while now. Also when i listen to music it starts to speed up when there is a moving object on the screen such as a pop-up or a video. THis also gives off a scratchy distorted noise. Could anyone help me please, because it is starting to bug me. Thanks Dan!! hehe

Try updating your sound card drivers, and make sure the cords are all plugged in all the way.

Try using different speakers or headphones and see if that helps.

Not sure in your case but I had a Cordless microsoft mouse that did basicly what you describe when I scrolled through web pages. It went away when I changed my mouse.

Is this a laptop or a desktop? I know on my old laptop, when i scrolled, it would pick up the "feedback".

OK is it a laptop or desktop, is it a custom build or is it DELL, HP, Sony, etc........?

also do you have a sound card or are you using motherboard sound?(motherboard sound can have problems) and if you are using a sound card or a DELL, HP, Sony, etc........, post a model number

It is a desktop, and i think im using a sound card im sure i am. and the model i think is a creative sound blaster 5.0.0.39.

i've gotten that exact same problem before! What i did is i took the soundcard out, then put it back in but in a different slot...dont ask one but it worked =) Then reinstall all the drivers.
