Screen freezes, get a distorted pixel screen, then black.?
So Basically I question this before but this is a update of what happened. Basically at my friend house the screen freezes, but I have never seen the pixel screen that he received. I brought home the Builted PC and connected it with a HDMI/DVI wire to my LCD Monitor. (My friend use a DVI/VGA Adaptor to his VGA Monitor) I surf the web regular, left it on, did clean up like ccleaner, scan for virus, etc but it has never froze on me once. I don't know what the problem is since I never receive it at my house.

Spec:
Windows 7 32-BIT
4GB DDR3
Asus M4NGBT-M Motherboard
ATI 4650 Radeon HD
Only fan we have is PSU fan, CPU fan, and Video card fan, and a clear sided fan.

Also he told me it was 54c when it froze.

Did you try using that DVI port on the graphics card or just the HDMI port. If not I would try that port and see if something is wrong there.

or maybe I am just not following you correctly here. Way too tired right now...
 
he has a vga/vga cable. though we use a vga/dvi adapter on one side. so Basically a vga is hooked to the monitor and a vga is hooked to a dvi where the dvi is hooked to the dvi output of the tower. we tried both video card and motherboard and it still freezes. We just currently updated the bios and see how its going so far.
