Screen is too big!

Hi, while playing my computer game (starcraft), the game screen is too big for my monitor. I can't see part of the screen on the sides and it's hard for me to play online. Help? Thanks.
 
this tends to happen when you change resolution and refresh rate. try setting the in-game resolution and refresh rate to that of your desktop
 
It should tell you what the resolution of the screen should be for the game in the system requirements. Just change change it to corresponding size.
 
go to the menu on ur acual monitor (the physical buttons attached to ur monitor) and find and icon that likes like a square with areas pointing either horizontal and another one that is a square with teh arrows pointing vertical. thats usuualy what the icon looks like, it squeezes and streches out the screen.
