screen resolution

I was gonna put a program on an older computer but it says the screen resolution is insufficient to install it.

What does that mean?

Can I over ride and install it anyway?

What does the screen res have to do with it anyway?

certian programs will only install if the minimum res is there usaully 1024 * 768
either you can up the res on the the older comp or it probably wont install

if your using windows and you right click on the desktop it will be under properties - display if using xp or older version on vista/ 7 it is right click and then under personalize
