Screen saver and power management doesn't work

Hello,

I have a problem with the screen saver and the "Dim the display" and "Turn off the display" features in power management on my laptop: they don't work. I tried setting all them to 1 minute and nothing happen. I tried with my wireless keyboard and mouse unplugged with no help. However, the "Put the computer to sleep" feature work perfectly.

I checked in the registry and the screen saver is set to on (1).

Do you have any idea of a possible cause?
How can I fix this?

Here's my laptop:
Thinkpad E550
Windows 7 professional 64 bit sp1
Intel Core i7-5500U
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 5500 and ATI AMD Radeon R7 M265 Series

Thank you

Perhaps a stuck key? Something is active that is not allowing the display to dim or turn off.

Is it set the same for when ac is plugged and on battery?

I'd be surprised if it's a stuck key because I have bought my laptop less than 1 year ago. And if it was the case I would have noticed it.

No, it's not set the same for when the ac is plugged and on battery.

Thank you
