screen shrunk problem

my 1999 tosiba tecra 8000, and it used to run windows 98 and now its working with 64 megs of ram which im planning on upgrading soon (yea i know stupid choice) with windows xp. but now the screen has shrunk from utilizing the wole 15 inches to using about 7 and its realy pissing me off. is it mabe because of the ram, thats the only thing i could think of that could have affected it. remember that it did work fully with windows 98.

yes i know, i said dumb choice. anyway i fixed it, i had to change the screen size to 1024x768. its a long story and dont feel like explaining y it didnt work b4.

ya I was just going to say that. I was running my laptop on 64mb of ram with windows xp too, and it isnt that bad. That said after a couple months I upgraded it to 192mb.
